Complementary therapies are available on the NHS. If you Google NHS Complementary Therapies you will find the following details:-
Your health, your choices
“Complementary therapy is gradually becoming more widely available on the NHS.
At the moment, the kind of complementary treatment you can access depends somewhat on where you live in England. However, complementary therapies are being introduced in more healthcare settings, including hospitals, GP surgeries and community clinics.”

Now that Cumbria is going for Foundation Status there are blank pages that we can write on.
In Cumbria your doctor may well recommend that you would benefit from a complementary therapy and refer you, but more than likely the treatment that you receive will be charity funded! Do check.
If a doctor refers you for treatment then it should be available on the NHS. Many comolementary therapies are, but as the NHS says above it all depends on where you live.
Your health treatment should not be dictated by your postcode.
Get involved with this new Foundation Trust and tell it what you want, the new NHS is supposed to be patient-led, so speak up.
