Let us be empowered to prevent arthritis.
How can we do this? I thought it is to with age and you are often told to live with it by the GP and rheumatologist.
Well, there are people who are quite flexible in their joints and do not have arthritis.
So, how does arthritis occur and what factors lead to its development?
It is well known to everyone that sports people get arthritis after years of being the sports.
This is true.Very often sports people who overuse their muscles and joints and put them under a lot of strain and impact.
The tight muscles and tendons create stiff joint movement and this is due to joint surfaces being bound together by the tendons and muscles not allowing them to move and be flexible. Cushion sacs are squashed by tight joint surfaces and this gradually cause pain and inflammation.
Very often drugs are prescribed for this problem. It has been showed that remedial massage to soften the muscles and tendons can relieve the tight joint and prevent cushion sacs from being compressed.
Most people are not aware of the health benefits of massage for the prevention of aches and pain associated with arthritis.
I would like to empower laypeople to get to know how to self massage and help themselves to avoid muscles and joint problems in their old age or during their sports or working life.
