The Lakeland Collective was formed by Cumbrian therapists’ concerned about the marginalising of complementary therapies and medicines despite the fact that conventional medicine is not curing the nations’ increasing chronic dis-eases.
With the NHS now being patient-led it is important that people are aware of the many options that are available to them to improve their health and wellbeing.
TLC is about empowering the public to make informed decisions about their health. There are so many societies and associations acting for the practitioners, but few are actively working to empower the public. TLC can fill that gap.
